  • Thank you so much! this makes perfect sense. Please continue. I want to learn more. ~smp

  • We are conditioned from a young to 'FIGHT AGAINST OURSELVES' (self discipline/ones inner demons)only the STRONG resist or take it all in a then oppress others (soicopathic??)free of empathy :)

The reality is CARING=SUFFERING,those who CARE LESS,simply SUFFER LESS and in truest soicopathic form RESIST other poor souls efforts to MAKE THEM suffer (external pressure)

We have free will, but many think not. So my fellow humans if you want less suffering,INTERNALISE less and if you already have

  • Many of us know the theory that stress is NO GOOD,but have a hard time in practice applying what we know, because of so-called love,expectations,pressures...etc....

unless your highly sociopathic/psychopathic (and this is seen as NEGATIVE,now even in BUSINESS) then inner demon will collect his tax form your health.Thats just a FACT of LIFE.The powers that be (ELITES/SOCIO's)will drain you, unless you think as they do,which if you don't have the RIGHT education/opportunuites,u wil go 2 JAIL :(

  • This is pretty good, you missed a few things. Your selling HMBs right. That is good what ever you call it. Sell a lot of it at a good price and your good with me.

  • I always get really tense muscles and very high/severe anxiety everyday for no reason, but

I had a very traumatic event in the past and I remember how it felt and feel thats what caused it. Can there be a way to trick the body back into a normal state once again?

  • Not a simple answer, please call my office. Dr Whiting

  • The brain is the head chemist of the body. Anyone relying on external use or chemicals is on purpose shutting down essential functions of the brain. There is no substitute for exercise and stretching. In other words if your body gets external help and it quits making those chemicals. Our society walked away from spiritualism and it suffers now. Not dogma or churches but natural spiritualism..Family..goodwill...gratitude...etc...etc.. Vitamins in pill form are just expensive pee.

  • There is a lot of talk here about glands and hormones, with the cure being pills and potions. Anyone would think the brain had nothing to do with stress. Will pantothenic acid make a stressful job less stressful, or make the death of a family member any easier to cope with? Stress might well effect a persons weight. Is the answer really to "deal with adrenal exhaustion" using the "right ratios" of vitamins? What about the 20 hot dogs down the gullet last Saturday?

  • Pantothenic acid will not ease the pain of a loss love one or any other tragedy, but will certainly protect the nervous system from excess stress response. During periods of heightened stress the body utilizes about 60 mg of pantothenic acid per hour. The recommended daily amount of this nutrient is only 60 mg per day. Our modern lifestyle filled with internal and external stress, has taken its toll on the individual and society in general. Nutrients alone cannot provide a change in society.

  • @healthyinformation The RDA you give of 60mg per day for pantothenic acid is quite high, somewhere between 5 & 10 is more like it (varies between countries and based on age, pregnancy etc). This level is based the amount needed by 97% of the population. It certainly is possible to get the RDA plus more from the diet alone (and many will be perfectly healthy with less). Very few people are actually are deficient in this vitamin. Where is the evidence that stressed people benefit from supplements?

  • Useful information

  • running away from dinosaurs isn't the only valid source of stress, modern society where we live unfulfilled lives working jobs we hate and being treated like a number is stressful as well.

  • Yes, meditation is very important in reducing stress.

  • Comment removed

  • Stress over time, can cause adrenal exhaustion due to over-stimulation. Our Stress formula also has adrenal support nutrients for that reason.

  • Not always prolonged stress can lead to adrenal exhustion due to the over production of stress hormones. Often there is a link between thyroid and adrenal, but not always. He was likely trying to cover all basis. If would like to talk you can call my office.

  • The adrenal support supplement my doctor gave me contains wheat germ and soy and oats, things I vehemently avoid for health reasons, in my opinion. Any thoughts about this?

  • What are the reasons you avoid those things?

  • I avoid grains because they irritate the GI tract and can potentially lead to neurological problems. I used to have tics and when I stopped eating wheat they went away. I believe gluten may be located within the wheat germ. I avoid soy because of lectins and and previous experience of overconsumption leading to hypothyroidism for me.

  • Hey, you can catch Dr Whiting in a live lecture in Glendale California on Sept 19-Saturday and he will also be lecturing in Northern California Sept 23 thur 26. Call 1-800-440-2390 for details so you can attend.

  • very nicely explained.

  • stress is stressing me out- my psycology exam is in 5 dayz :|

  • Our stress formula has helped a great many individuals. Examinations that require the retention of information are often helped by our memory support formula called EZ Recall.

  • Stress really does make everything worse!! Most of our stress is self made and we need to stop doing that. If outside influences make you stressed either get rid of them or learn to accept them.

  • very informative information i have to say but towards the end it became purely about marketing your products, however its very good information....i have one query though, how does cortisol make one fat really, i mean cortisol is responsible for making organs such as the liver to breakdown glycogen, lipolysis, protein catabolism for energy etc..(reason for its release is to provide glucose to cells) so i would have thought excess amount cause hyperglycemia instead of weight gain? enlighten me!?

  • Cortisol is also involved in the conversion of glucose to glycogen as well as eventually, triglycerides, which are then stored as fat. Further, excess cortisol can slow metabolism. We do offer formulas for helping people overcome many chronic health challenges as these are always caused by imbalances in the body chemistry. I am avaliable at 1-888-454-8464 for any questions you may have. Thanks for commenting.

  • Sir/Madam, are you suggesting that the same molecule responsible for the catabolism of molecules such as lipids and glycoproteins into glucose is also inversely responsible for glycogen synthesis. You can't want to make glucose from stored compounds then at the same time try to store the glucose you just made (and one molecule is supposed to initiate both processes?) please explain the biochemical metabolic pathway in which this events take place? Am just curious

  • Cortisol encourages fat storage by a variety of mechanisms, including slowing of the baseline metabolism. Further, cortisol increases insulin production, which in turn, increases the conversion of glucose to triglyceride.

  • I have a question doc...My mom was giving cortisone as an anti-inflamatory...she received heavy doses of it without her knowing...Its been to years since this happens and...to this day she has some of the following symptopns...Stress and anxiety that is through the roof and tend to vary from day to day drepression sometimes follows, Palpitations upper body and lower body ...She complains about the left side of her face being swollen, and a constant pinging in her ears,

  • she also feels preasure in her ears...I guess what you feel after an artillery shell goes off that type sound except this one pulsates.

  • (Sorry for my typing late night I guess)...anyways shes been with alot of doctors and ecrondologists...and non of them have been able to tell her whats wrong....shes resorted to trying homeopathic treatment they seem to make her feel better for "periods"...My question is did going cold turkey on the cortisone a bad thing?,,,Doctors did tell her that she was intoxicated do to the cortisone that she received...and told her to detoxify from it...how it was done I dont know...What I do know is that.

  • she went cold turkey on it I wonder if that affected her adrenal glands...Thanks.

  • Ashwagandha+Iodine , Astragalus & B Complex Are Very Good for Stress with sport or any type of activites... or just doing music....

  • When I have that extra adrenaline, I will do as this doctor suggests: I will get physically active. Never thought of that!

  • Thats good to prevent adrenal fatigue, but this video is adressing when the bodies adrenals are exhausted. You need to follow a good balanced diet and take it easy to allow your adrenals to recover.

  • This makes so much sense. This explains why break up of realtionship + very low carb diet + working out too much + caffeine abuse + hating my job + fighting within the family + grandmother diagnosed with breast cancer = panic disorder

  • Your solution then is: Eat more cards, work out less, stop drinking coffee, stay on welfare, get an apartment where you live by yourself, and hopefully your grandmother...

  • already started that, thank you

  • Congratulations. Forget about others, and work on your health. You're the most important person for yourself!

  • @monarofreak Add to that everything that makes you happy or bored, These also release Cortisol and other catibolics.

  • @jefferyrowe1960 bored i can understand but things that make you happy release cortisol?? Unless you mean things that get you excited

  • @monarofreak Excited Yes I would say that is right. Basically I think it is anything other then your normal routine. I could look it up, the science community has the names for the three types of stress but Id'e have to look them up. Great hearing from ya. Jeff
