i use a .243 savage 1100 youth model (cause im 11). It may not be the most powerful gun ever but im a really good shot and its plentty off powerful to crack a spine or perice a neck (thats what i ussually do even out to 200 yards)

I don't remember seeing anything about "PF Sporter Composite" stuff! It shoots really well and groups just the same. I've had no trouble from it and my grouping pretty much stayed the same from last year... took her out just awhile ago .. shot three shots.. two were on top of each other ...the other was less then 1/4 inch away from the rest with no adjustments. Not bad for the price.

It was originally a lil over $400 with taxes and crap, but I got it through our christmas holiday program .... then it actually went on sale at the same time so if I can rememeber correctly it was around $245 after all was said and done. Not ur top of the line model but trust me it'll get the job done!

My new one is a Kodak HD Easyshare Z1275! Way better then what took my first few vids! Quit expensive(if i can remember it was a lil over $200), but well worth it! The scope is just ur oridinary generic one.. really not worth mentioning... but as for doing the job.. it works just fine!!

its a winchester model 70. and the 3006 has 25 percent more recoil than the 270. u can tell the make of the rifle by the wing type saftey and the big ass w on the fored of the stock

Actually the U.S. military uses bolt action as sniper rifles. Bolt action has been far more accurate and it's taking a long time in developing a semi-auto sniper that the U.S. government would approve of.

well accually, the sniper of choice now is the berreta .50 cal semi auto. Its accurate up to 1.5 miles and can still hit veilches from 2 miles. But the .50 cal is a little over kill for infantry at short range so they commanly use bolt actions for stealthy close range kills

Most snipers in fact do NOT use the light fifty. The barret is used against light vehicles and helicopters, not anti-personnel. Snipers in urban settings will usually go for the M21, M40, or Remington 700.
