You know why this record basically bombed? Joe Perry wrote, sang and played guitar on this album. That's why! Joe isn't much of a singer, can't write to save is life and is only a half assed guitar player. Without the song writers and session musicians used on albums like Toys In The Attic, Perry is merely an entertainer. A Showman at best. He looks kinda cool though, huh?
@homeydontlie you're 100% wrong...Joe sang about half of the tracks...the reason it "bombed" is because Columbia did nothing to promote it because they wanted Joe to fail and return to Aerosmith
@taypax Now you are right! Columbia didn't think it would do well even if they did promote it so they just didn't bother! The only reason I have this album...is cause I'm an epic fan of Aerosmith, so imma gonna get a joe perry album =) plus.....its kind cool on vinyl!
@taypax yeye i dont have I've got the rock & rolls again, does it have South Station Blues on it? that song is one of my favorites! I like rockin train on this album :) its got Joe's groove in it =P
@homeydontlie Well his grammar is better than yours so he has that goin' for him. And it's funny that he writes half of Aerosmiths songs. And on Toys In The Attic they used a bassist, that's it. And that was because Tom was having health issues at the time. Look up the song Combination, Perry wrote that, show me another band that can write somethin' like that. Exactly. Don't bother commenting back 'cause I won't waste anymore time on someone like you. Get your facts straight first "homey"
