I actually watched episode 10 of Brotherhood when I was still new to it. At the time I wasn't sure if I was going to be a regular viewer and the only other ones I had seen were episodes were 8 and 9. I know it sounds heartless but I already had a feeling that Hughes would die sooner or later, BUT, as soon as Hughes was confronted by Lust, and later Envy, I was like, "Oh no." This soon?" My heart sunk for him. And while it didn't make me cry, the funeral was heart wrenching.
@JardeztheVarious Oh god, the funeral. Probably the single saddest anime moment I've seen yet. I didn't really cry when Hughes died, or feel emotion at all, actually (Hughes kind of annoyed me). But when you saw the funeral and his little girl was asking why they're burying her dad... I'm tearing up right now, no joke.
Yeah, I could only watch about 50 minutes of Grave of the Fireflies before I had to turn it off. I don't even know if I can finish it. At least not while other people are in the house seeing me tear up. Good vid man.
I have to say even when I knew it was coming I grew sad seeing Hughes making us all laugh up until the 10th episode of Brotherhood. Then I had tears Rollin down my face, sniffling during the funeral scene because of the emotional music, and Elicia crying "Don't bury daddy!" and then just started sobbing when Mustang had tears going down his cheeks
I screamed a lot at the eclipse moment and then cried when the finale was all over
@KTChamberlain it was still very good :) I loved Misuzu alot. It's also ok if u did see it but you just didn't add it to any count down yet. I also believe the wolfs rain ending was a great thing at number 4? I think it was number 4 :)
If there's one sad moment that I can think of, it's the final episode of Angel Beats. It would probably be out of context without the other 12 episodes, but it was truly a heart-wrenching moment.
I agree with CSA on the Elfen Lied one...I cried watching that series and I don't cry often. I have no idea about Berserk though, I've never seen the anime, but it's been on my list for a while.
You haven't seen elfen lied?

Ah, Fruits Basket. That series got sadder and sadder as it went on. Both anime and manga.

B-17s were actually used in the Pacific. Due to the distances however, they were replaced by B24s and B-29s.
