just curious about the motors ... it looks like you put them in and there were no wires connected to them ? how does that work ? im curious .. also if i get one i think i wanna try to put an x mod upgrade motor in one thats why im so curious ... but yeah do you think its a good little car? they look fun

@1994toyotasupra The have pessure tabs that make contact once the motor is in place> I myself have had no luck. They came defective and had issues with the ebay seller. These were new inbox and one had a defective power switch and the other would only run right. I could have fixed both of them but I have had no time and not sure if I want to even bother. If you want a drift car then maybe a mini-z awd with hard compound tires

@shawnroy81 ahhhh ok, ive been considering just fixing up one of my x mods.. i have like 4 of them in pieces just because i would be breaking things on accident. Right now im interested in upgrading the board on one of my mods and adding some FET's but its hard because if i dont get the solder perfect the whole board frys lol witch has happen twice. i bought lithium AA batteries for em and they make the x mod really really fast and i figure if i install the FET 's and the batteries and tires

@1994toyotasupra I have a micro z with a upgraded FET board. Tones of power but I didn't get the AA lithium. Hope it works out for ya

can u leave the antenna tube of the car off so you put the antenna in the body ?

Thank you for this vid! I just got the nissan S15, and cant wait for it to get here. Was a bit worried that it was hard to put together but it looks very easy! What do you think of this car so far?

@SimonStalner Funny that you mentioned the Nissan S15. I just received mine this mooring and should be posting an unboxing tonight. For the car I haven't really tested it yet. Will post a review on it soon...Just trying to get caught up with all my RC. I also just received my Traxxas Monster Mutt....LOL...will be a busy guy for the next bit.

Probably you already have your car and your having ultra-fun.

Anyway friend, if you really are into drifting. Go to ebay and search for GPM Drift tire (use the narrow ones)

Advice: Use only in the rear.

Try to find also the cheapest Torque Tuned motor. DON'T WORRY this motor is compatible with Tomy drift!

BUT I DONT ADVISE USING FASTER ENGINES. YOU'LL BURN THE CAR ELECTRONICS (Ok probably just the capacitators I think this is what's called I guess. Unless you can sold new ones

Last but not least: Try different small things... use a spoiler... remove da spoiler... I find it usually drifts better without spoiler, coz the rear becomes lighter, therefore it's not gripping so much (don't think of it as a real car though)

And stock tomy drift tires in the front, with the bigggest side inwards.

Also, if u sure you want to try... u can mount a 12t gear in the back of the 4wd traction axle or whatever it's called. But this includes careful build! Or damage..

@SimonStalner I personally not happy with it but I have all kinds of issues with mine. I purchased 2 and they both have problems. One has no steering and the other only works if you jam something in the power switch.
