Doctor Who: The reign of terror - animated scene

I once asked about the possibility of someone reanimating the lost eps, and found that it would be expensive to keep going, considering the number of eps they would need to recreate. That's why Cosgrove Hall only did the two parts for "The Invasion" (1968).

But, here's hoping for the best!

@IJustWatchEm71 it is expensive, even in this economic climate, but reign is being animated and that looks superb, i also read that if reign does well then more episodes will be made, heres to the future!

I think the Doctor Who DVD team is doing a re-animation of this story right now.

@doctorwhoross Let us hope them do animated versions of all the lost and incomplete stories and release them on dvd and that would be ace in billions of ways and well worth the time, effort and money that will go into making them.

Its cool how they are actually going to do this now, like the invasion. I wonder if they will ever do things like the Daleks Master Plan etc. I suppose that is a LOT to ask them though. They would be nice to fill the gaps though.

@MrClassicDoctorWho yeah they are making this story and i had a go at animating this scene, they may do a dalek story, if you buy the book the dalek hand book there is a page where there are some screen grabs of an animated trailer of power of the daleks, this was considered but i dont think it went any further then the trailer, the pictures look amazing, it was the same style as invasion

@doctorwhoross Thanks for that. Might have to pick one up! Who knows, they might recreate a Dalek story. After all the Invasion got great reviews. They are releasing the reign of terror soon. So maybe another story is in the pipeline? My money is on it being the tenth planet though with real clips on hartnells regeneration added in to the ending?

Could do with a bit more movement though. I guess you'll do more of that as you get the hang of it though?

well the the image was given as a whole rather then the characters being seperate but maybe next time

I would love for you to upload this clip exported from Flash, rather than with a camera. Having sais that, it gives it a 'live' feeling, that a still shot doesn't . I wish you had one or two hand gestures in it to give it some life.

yeah i tried to but it wasn't working so i decided the only way to show it was through my camera, normally i don't do it, i was only given a picture not the characters separately
