I've looked also at a version coming from a torrent that is the whole Naudet's footage,the "effect" is still there,it's a divx and the data rate is lower,in many chunks it seems filtered instead of just more compressed.
I've not been lucky with a .vob heavy version,every player-converter I use just chocked.
The effect is still there in the highest resolution deinterlaced deshaken footage I can make. I've created a highly compressed high quality 59 fps version for you to download. Piper has the DVD, and hopefully can use VirtualDub's newest version to replicate my work.

the fact that the border of the roof is stable while the part into the shadow under it it's moving looks like a completely normal artifact to you.
Thus it's also a completely normal artifact the fact that the part in light on the left of the shadow follows the movement of the roof but not that of same wall that is not illuminated.
I don't want to argue on your definition of normal artifact.

That's very true. I'm sure it's what the designers were depending on for cover. However, if you look at what's linked you'll find there is something else depicted for which that explanation is impossible.
Nice find, it looks like where the shadow on the building starts the 'shadow-plugin' they used for the virtual city was lacking basic ram/cpu power so the dark parts of the building aren't connected to the lighter parts anymore. (bad analysis I know, that's why I'm sticking to ripping other peoples stuff and mashing it!;)
my analysis is even worst : instead of using a "darken" or "color burn" someone has cut the lower layer,made it darker with "image-adjustments-brightness-contrast" or the like and pasted it on top of the lighter one.

Are you saying that you've never, ever seen a compression artifact in your life? Find out how lossy compression algorithms work. Or, just grab a copy of any DVD movie (Raiders of the Lost Ark is a good example) and look how details wiggle around if you use a cheap player).

phenomenon happened during filming. Notice it won't occur @ the points where the sun is showing. Only in

Hochdorff: The building reacts to the black bar at the bottom and it is only the part in the shadow that does react, so
I would figure it has something to do with
the lighting conditions and that it is not from the original tape, but a copy from a internet copy from a television

i actualky dont get this vid tbh. it is obviously edited, but whats your point? people have had a long long time to edit footage and there has been many hoax clips as to date, this one is wierd though as it leads to nothing except that more confirmation that vids can be edited... unless i am missing something.

I've made all I can to remain sane after to have realized that the official story was just incredible.
The various hypothesis look incredible as well.
All this will end in the same way as other similar frauds that have changed the history but I've not been able to just accept some lies that have killed so much people,I had to see.
My result is a better understanding of how the things are going around me.

I got to look at your suggested/required version of the footage.
It's Divx3 Low Motion.
For a high motion clip, that's a pretty sucky codec choice to begin with, obsolete with overlapping fields obscuring detail.

I've looked also at a version coming from a torrent that is the whole Naudet's footage,the "effect" is still there,it's a divx and the data rate is lower,in many chunks it seems filtered instead of just more compressed.
I've not been lucky with a .vob heavy version,every player-converter I use just chocked.

The effect is still there in the highest resolution deinterlaced deshaken footage I can make. I've created a highly compressed high quality 59 fps version for you to download. Piper has the DVD, and hopefully can use VirtualDub's newest version to replicate my work.

I would like to use the biggest resolution ever but downloading it could be lethal to my poorman iMac,a 4.36GB download could make it lethargic for some day.
My choice to use that source comes also by the reasoning that I could share with others the exact frame number with more anomalies to compare the results.

I'm asking for an HD footage of a bulding with a jumpy shot in wich after and-or before a stabilisation just the part of the building in the shadow will jump like it's detached from the cornice under the rooftop while the rest of the same wall will follow the roof,according to your hypothesis it will not be a daunting task.

the fact that the border of the roof is stable while the part into the shadow under it it's moving looks like a completely normal artifact to you.
Thus it's also a completely normal artifact the fact that the part in light on the left of the shadow follows the movement of the roof but not that of same wall that is not illuminated.
I don't want to argue on your definition of normal artifact.
With "try by yourself" I was asking for a video response using the same procedure & source.

I voluntarely stay away from the smoke cause a fluid can repeat a shape in time as a turbolence so my approach has always been to reach for a thing far from where the attention is usually aimed ,thx for telling me that this has not been analyzed before and for spreading it.
The shadows need more investigation cause contrasting hours are a solid proof IMHO.

That's very true. I'm sure it's what the designers were depending on for cover. However, if you look at what's linked you'll find there is something else depicted for which that explanation is impossible.

Nice find, it looks like where the shadow on the building starts the 'shadow-plugin' they used for the virtual city was lacking basic ram/cpu power so the dark parts of the building aren't connected to the lighter parts anymore. (bad analysis I know, that's why I'm sticking to ripping other peoples stuff and mashing it!;)

my analysis is even worst : instead of using a "darken" or "color burn" someone has cut the lower layer,made it darker with "image-adjustments-brightness-contrast" or the like and pasted it on top of the lighter one.

BTW every one and his sister can use a try out version of AE CS4 to do it ;)
