The delay is simply a delay from when you can RE CLOAK!

Not a targetting delay - you can target and shoot instantly after you de cloak. Its just now when you de cloak theres a small delay before you can re cloak again....

dude, your are such an fing idiot, have you never read the info boxes for cloaking devices, there is a targeting delay after you de cloak, try fitting a cloaking device to a raven, or any other battle ship, you get massive delay. in the case of stealth bombers however their bonuses are such that the delay is infinitesimally small, if you have your skills trained up. and don't even thing of telling me that i don't know what i'm talking about, i've been playing eve for four years.

No cruise missiles did shit damage, torps do a ton more damage. Your target could warp off by the time you even shot from 100km away - now you can even fit a MSE, a warp disrupter and damps and actually kill shit solo - I've seen it done, before you couldn't.

Before stealth bomber gangs were useless as they couldn't warp cloaked.. meaning if your gonna use cruise missiles anyway you may aswell have used a raven...

Furthermore - many people use their bombs consistently now when they were NEVER used before. Again check the MM killboard for an example of 9Billion isk worth of Hulks and macks being destroyed by bombers which were jumped in using the blackops into a cyno jammed system.

This could not have been done before, thus they were boosted not nerfed.

People also now use them in cloaky gangs for dps - Rapier holds them, arazu points them SB put our DPS on them.

As blackops can now jump into jammed systems they have been used even more often. Check the MM killboard - They were used to kill like 60hulks in that way -

Bombs became cheaper also -

Torps do a shit load more damage then cruise..

Yes, you are right. I was one of the hulk pilots that was killed in the MM stealth bombing deaths. We lost alot of barges that day lol. I was just mining away them BAM! i was in my pod. It was a Widow Black Ops that jumped the bombers in.

We lost over 10 billion isk's worth of Hulk's/Mackinaw's that day. Was well played by The Initiative.

Yes but unless your target is painted you dont do much, check out ARGH69s videos about the Pre QR bomber which could knock out targets from 100km + and then GTFO whilst laughing your ass off, now that way fun, alls a bomber is now IMO is a paper bag raven/ a cov ops with torps, but even more annoying

Before you could only take out frigates - Now you can take out Cruisers, BC and BS.

It seems only you see it as a nerf because speak to anyone else and they will tell you it was most defiantly a boost. Everyone uses them now when they were very rarely used before.

They can also warp cloaked now, they couldn't before. From 100km away your target could easily warp off well before cruise missiles got their & only get frigs, they were useless... at least now they put out dps and can warp cloaked.

Argh28s vids, i enjoyed using the stealth bomber like that, i think it was moe fun and methodical, im not saying the change in roles is bad, it doesnt suit me personnaly, + im not a huge fan of 0.0 pvp.

Ive used them since the patch in gangs but id much prefer one of my BC.

Look I'm not gonna argue - SB were rarely used before, not they are used all the time...so you might think it was a nerf, yet a big part of eve doesn't.

Warp cloaked does make up for it, because now you can send in bait and have 20 SB sitting right behind the bait - You dont already have to have the SB there then cloak. Instead you can warp bait their, then warp in cloaked SB....

Before you had to already be set up, now they can fly around and bomb shit

I agree that the warp cloak is a big boost, and its not so much that the sb is nerfed jsut changed so dramaticaly, Torpedoes do indeed do so much more dmg but they just arent the tactical wonders that Cruise Missles were and those of us that used to use them will greatly miss it :(

Yeah we scored 75% kb efficiency for the engagement in spite of being outnumbered 13-3. The raw damage output of those bombers is ridiculous though, it's pretty awesome to watch.
