  • all ur lessons are amazing! good teachers.

  • I really love the ChinesePOD MP3's and having a video to watch at the same time, with the words on the screen makes a HUGE difference for me.

I love ChinesePOD, going to be paying for my first month of subscription tomorrow.. :) Would like to see more videos

  • Instead of "san4bu4," the better word for this is "guang4jie1", which means to walk around in areas where there are lots of shops/stores/etc. I think "san4bu4" is too general.

  • ChinesePod is the best.

  • brillaint! chinese is pretty much my favorite language, and it's got amazing flow!

  • LOR,

Surwe we couled do things i nthe hous, but we want to make it as interesting and different as possible. Any other suggestions?

  • This is a good start. But don't be so open ended. With Chinese like most other languages, you can get on pretty well with only three or four thousand words (words, not characters). Within those three to four thousand, less than eight hundred make up the core of the language. This core is what should be presented here and in your newbie pod(net)casts. After the core is mastered, everything else is just specializing and more nouns. That's how I finally learned it.

  • Yay!! a chinesepod video! that rocked!

I'm glad you are starting to use the video medium for teaching. Can you possibly do a tour through a house and point out the chinese for items in an apartment? I still don't know how to say fridge or name rooms yet.

    Thanks!
