@AthroughZ1thr0ugh9 Thank yeh! You mean the sawed-off (aka "hogleg")? I love that gun. I wish ObLost retained the same zo0m on the sawed-off. The way it is in ObLost makes the sawed-off lo0k like it's to0 far forward or just not as big as it should be, especially compared to the sawed-off from Clear Sky (just going by the way it lo0ks). To0 bad the sawed-off sucks in Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat.
Russian words can have different prefixes and suffixes added to modify the meaning, similar to Spanish. Thus you can make entire sentences implied with one word.
In this came, the base word "ubyit" means "to kill". But if you change that to "ubyu" it can mean "I'll kill you", without actually having to say "I'll" and "You" because they are implied. Just a bit of random info, lol.
That could explain why Russians who speak English tend to leave out words, especially articles and prepositions. Articles and prepositions seem to be difficult for those who learn English as a second language. Even people who learned English as their first language seem to have trouble with the proper use of commas. They don't actually denote a pause in a sentence. Their intended use is more specialized than that.
If you get Clear Sky, don't play it til it's patched to v1.5.04 or higher and definately get the pistol iron sight mod. Without that patch and that mod, it's very frustrating. You might also like the Oblivion Lost mod for Shadow of Chernobyl.
You can buy Dragunov SVUs from Freedom (Skinflint) and SVDs from Duty (Colonel Petrenko) after doing certain missions for either faction. I think Petrenko starts selling Dragunovs after you retrieve the Bulldog 6 (RG-6) from Army Warehouses.
Make them suffer...then scavenge and sell their lo0t. XD Keep what you need, but sell broken weapons. In ObLost, merchants can repair your weapons and armor, so you won't need to buy and stash duplicate weapons unless you feel like it.
nice choice on the gun :)

Damn, was one tough Spetsnaz guy! I love how he just shrugged off a whole magazine of 5.45, and responded with "I'll kill you!"
