To make it look good u need at least 10k. 5k wont do shit. let me give you a description n this is the cheapest route. 500 bodykit,1000paint job,1000rims n tires,300coilover,300brake n rotors. Likely you will need new motor n trans 3000sr20 with trans.not including labor.
@ken350z what coilovers can you get thats worth $300? your math is so far off. You can have a base fully proper 240 for less than 5grand. If youre a 240 owner. You know for a fact you dont need anyone else doing the labor other than you.
@libinls That is an example of the list but you can get a used set of coil for around 300. Yes 5 grand can give u a proper 240sx but when it come to tuning cars the parts list keep adding on. sr20 and trans doesn't come cheap at least 2500 for a good one n don't forget the drive shaft too. Most of the work we all can do but some require shop, n not everyone have car experience and tools.
@ken350z Bro, seriously though i doubt anyone who has a 240 wouldnt know a friend or a mechanic that does stuff for cheap or free. Mostly all 240's are made for drifting and you meet people at the meets and you climb up from there my man
heh i bought mine at 800 bux too but ended up spending like what 20g (well with parts and labor) but it can kick some serious ass now :P I have a vid of it on track hehe only KA and well check it out ;).... next up is chassis work and ls6+t56 ;)
