@SAB2950 well allow me to start - in that land there was a kingdom between 2900 BCE - ~70 AD. called "kingdom of judea", around ~550BCE the people who lived there were exiled to Babylon, today they are know as "jews", who lived in india, yemen, iraq and iran/afghanistan. later, some of the exiled jews returned to israel, only to be exiled again around ~70 AD. the jews were exiled to europe and north africa. even though they (we!) were scattered in alien environment, we kept our identity.

@SAB2950 jews are not a race. judaism is a religion, jews are a nationality. example: you can be an atheist jew but not an atheist christian/muslim. for various reasons you can't be a christian jew.

as for the religion - i didn't say you can't, i said it takes time. but take for example the druze faith - where you have to be born into it to be considered one.

and about the army rank, I don't know, but I know it is strong, holds great air force, has good weapons from inside and outside, and we won wars against more than 1 army XD... really, egypt has a strong army, it is known, but history proved that IDF is strong too, and even stronger... ;)

the entire 3rd armia was surrounded, with no food and water, almost starved to death (eventually the IDF gave them supplies).
IDF cannons, tanks and infantry were less than 100Km from cairo (meaning it's in cannon range).
and the egyptian army lost more planes, tanks, ships and soldiers than israel.

@SAB2950 No israeli units were surrounded. and you are talking about the 3rd army as if it was made of few hundreds of soldiers, we are talking about tens of thousands. and clearly you don't know of the part of the US and soviets in this war. the US helped israel with weapons and supplies and the soviets gave you soldiers and experts. after the 3rd army was surrounded you asked for more active aid from the soviets, and the US announced that it will respond with violence if the soviets take part.

@SAB2950 pt.2 after the soviets refused to help you they and the US pushed israel and egypt to end the war. saadat had no power to negotiate with. In fact, he was easily manuvered by israel, the US and the soviets, because he had over 30,000 men who were surrounded with no basic supplies. After the war the israelis agreed to withdraw from the west side of the suez canal. it was years later that we decided that the sini isn't as good as peace, and we withdrew.

I keep hearing "israelis are cowards for using planes- come through the ground", "our president did not asked for help, they just helped us", "the US helps you so it doesn't count".
