  • Will it still work if I already painted my wooden lette with acryillic paint?

  • Just attempted, and fail! I put acrylic paint first, but I guess it needs a couple of coats... back to the drawing board!!

  • What is the best type of wood to use? I have tried this on a couple different pieces of wood and they turned out differently, kinda crappy. So im wondering what the best type of wood to use is?

  • How do you get the paper not to wrinkle from the glue??

  • Does any of you know what it's the difference betwen the orange and red label of Mod Podge glue??

  • @solodenoches The red is glossy, the orange is not.

  • I was using Lasertran paper - which is very cool, but very, very expensive. Thanks for your video ... now I can afford to be creative again :)

  • u have a mac

  • I think what she did was to lay down some thin school glue and then print the image on that, so it releases easier from the paper. She used Mod Podge for the actual transfer contact between the print and the wood. That's where I'd probably go for gel medium, too, but the modpodge seems to work just fine.

  • what adhesive did you use with the wood and the paper?

  • Also, seeing as school glue is washable... I would assume it would not be as durable while using water...but I guess it works xD :P

  • I would use a gel medium, not school glue, but I like the results :) Tnx

  • glue

  • You can just flip the photo in any drawing or photo viewing application.

  • SOLVE MIRROR PROBLEM

    Go to Photoshop

    FILE - Open

    IMAGE - rotate canvas

    SELECT flip canvas horizontal

    Save

  • how do you protect the image?

  • @herFLYness79 I'd just use a varnish

  • @mikjryan cool! thanks! :)

  • I have tried so hard to figure out how to print my image backwards---through Word and also through my printer options (epson printer). Can't figure it out...lol But I saw this post on your blog a little while ago and think the idea is fantastic!! Guess I'm going to have to try this with an image without text. Thanks for posting this video and also for your blog post!!

  • I am using epson printer too. you can go to printer setting page layout & there should have a a print option 'mirror image' .
