@MrSexxxy20 I no longer really use this. It's not that it stopped working, I just graduated to other things. I mainly used it on damp hair. My hair didn't respond so well to it if it was wet.
Vivacious1083 your twistout is fabulous! Do you create your twists with the shea butter frosting or is it primarily used for moisturizing after shampooing and conditioningr? Thanks.
@Nubian1007 Why thank you. :D Butters and oil are not moisturizing so I nver use them for moisture. For a product to be moisturizing it must have water in it and my mixture does not. I don't really use the frosting anymore but when I did, yes, I twisted my hair with it. That's all I used it for (well I used it on my body too).
To cut down on the greasiness of you can add a few tablespoons of arrowroot or cornstarch powder. It'll help cut down on the greasy feeling but still leaving the moisturizing properties in tact.
Thank you for responding Lady! I will definitely make this recipe. I can't wait until my hair reaches your length b/c it is super cute. Keep the videos coming ::)
AWESOME I'm going to try this in my hair. However, I wanted to know if you can apply this to wet or damp hair?

I'm white! How can I make do my hair into a killer afro?
necronominate 2 years ago
That's a tough question necronominate...I wouldn't know, your hair is a lot different, you'd probably have to find a way of shrinking it?

Back comb your hair (tease) and spray some extra hold spritz. It may still be somewhat limp but if your hair is short it may resemble a afro more.

How often do you moisturize your hair?
MirahMir1 2 years ago
Depends on the hairstyle. When in my mini twists or wash n go's I moisturize daily.
With my hair like this in a twist out, I might moisturize every other day or when I feel my hair needs it.
