  • i am an Azari man from Iran and we have different type of dolma, but i really want to taste this one and i think it must be very delicious, dolma is a Turkish name but it doesn't mean that Kurdish people can't make it better, we are human and we learn things from each other, this is not related to nation or ethnic, i hope one day we all learn that instead of accusing and blaming others, try to communicate, educate and understand from each other in order to growth and evolvement.

  • @KautharThalaba its an extra rich taste

  • @KautharThalaba The hot oil you are talking about is from the meat. before they put the meat into the mixture they boil it and then fry it.. and the oil thats left from the meat they add into the muxture to really give the flavour of the meat. =) i hope that helped x

  • in Iraq they add alot of meat with bone at the bottom of the saucepan with some pure oil and the add lemon jiuice or tamerian sauce and that make the dolma great by the way dolma is turkish dish and the iraqi and other people got it fromturkish kitchen (dolma means filling)

  • @qadsia666 in Kurdish we call it ( Yeprakh) I've had it the Iraqi way the way you describe it too delicious ! in Kurdistan we use chicken wings at the bottom and use Sumak instead of lemon.

  • best meat is iraqi meat and the vegtable i cant tell you so fresh and it has really sweet test . kurdish food is great . who ever asked about the spices that she used iraqi people uses the allspices in england you can find it every where tesco for example

  • hi morena, the filling is very simple. these are ingredients you need: -rise -meat ( little cubes, you can choose what you like, beef, chicken, beef is better) -small chopped onions -parcely -garlic -chopped tomato's -spices: pepper, salt, red paprikapowder -water -oil these are the main things you need for the filling. but practicing is the main thing in making dolma. after a few time makig it you know the right portions of everything.
