Jeff, This is a great video, I'll be doing this route in ride video next summer starting from Cache Creek and ending up in Vancouver. I hope the weather is as good for me as in your video when I make the trip.
@hiewy Yes the Sea to Sky Highway has definitely changed, the road is a lot safer now and the scenery is still as amazing as ever. An Australian outback tour is definitely on our places to go, ride, and film list. Not sure when...
I probably cant say whats already been said, Fantastic video footage, I'm off to Canada very soon, ill be watching this and more of your vids over and over till I can get there, well done mate! well done.
great video...I remember back in the sixties around 1964 driving(dad driving) the sea to sky highway when I was about 10 years old......it was a crappy two lane(one lane each way) road.............nothing like the brand new blacktop one in your video.
Perfect video like always. The helmet cam makes these videos even better. Personally I think that you dont need more cameras than these 3 cameras you are using.
Music does fit pretty good for this video. I'm also happy to hear the engine of your bike. Ambient sounds too while your not riding. 5/5
Spectacular ride along the Sea to Sky - actually felt motion sickness - I question why speed markers along the hwy seem to be mph not kph . . especially with the world invited to come and travel BC's highways? Otherwise, thank you for taking us all along for the ride and I believe your production would make Steven Spielberg happy. 5 star rating!
люблю смотреть на природу сидя за рулём мотоцикла. очень красиво. душа поёт. особенно россия в сеньтябре, когда листья деревьев имеют разный цвет и летняя жара уже спала. видео очень красивое и музыка соответственно. 5+
At 0:55 is a point of interest on Cypress Mountain in Cypress Provincial Park, British Columbia. In my opinion this is one of the best places to see Vancouver. A great spot to watch the sunset and the lights of the city come on.
Special thanks goes to Tourism British Columbia, the official travel website of BC Canada for accepting vridetv's second blog submission. They have posted our newest video of Vancouver British Columbia, as seen from the Cypress Mountain, the 2010 Olympic countdown clock, and the virtual motorcycle ride on the Sea to Sky Highway to Porteau Provincial Park in their blog section, and in tips from travellers. We appreciate you sharing this video, and Virtual Riding TV with your viewing audience.
I'd like to thank you all for watching this video, rating it, and posting comments on it. I appreciate your time, and enjoy providing high definition videos to the youtube community.
I hope you'll consider sending this video to your friends, and share the virtual riding experience with them.
Lets see if we can get this video onto youtubes home page.........
The video is really nice. Great picture quality. The music is pretty boring though, and maybe a bit of narration would be good. I'd like to know more about what I'm looking at than the few sub-headings at the bottom of some of the views. Maybe even a bit of history (This is where van Coevorden first explored in the 1790's or something like that, or 'originally this was an old logging road....). Anyway, keep it up. Beautiful videos. I'll follow you.
Saw this road from the observation platform of the Whistler Mountaineer. I thought then it looked a great road to ride. I remember that view of Porteau Cove where the wrecks lie beneath the surface for the divers? Great vid.
Gonna make this trip in the summer. A lot of places i see in your other video's, i'm gonna go there too. What is the camera you filmed with? Because it is a good camera and I would like to film it too.
