I drink and I still build muscle, but I am 18 years old and only drink one night a week, fairly heavily though. I reckon when I'm a bit older I wont be able to get away with it as much but I only drink it one night a week, eat healthy as fuck and ONLY drink water (apart from obviously the alcohol lmao) and drink a lot of water while I'm drunk as well. Fuck it... I love drinking!

Many people who lived over 100 have drank in moderation their whole life. There are also health benefits to darker beers. However most people take it too far regularly and binge drink, which ruins your body in so many ways.
@LeJimster red wine thing is a myth. Based on an atioxidant that you can get from plain grape juice. To get any benefit you have to drink 100 glasses of wine. Obviously the draw backs outweigh the benefits. Never been any official studies on redwine. Just on the antioxidant that is in it.

What these guys may not be aware of is that the yeast in your body produce a certain amount of alcohol constantly. So to try and eliminate all alcohol in your body is impossible, and there is a healthy amount of alcohol you can take without any damage to muscle or giving you man boobs.

I get better at one handed pushups after drinking 4 beers. Dancing for 2 hours in the clubs after drinking 3,4,5 beers back in the day was wastefull foolishness for me to do though. I think in moderation you can get away with a few beers every day and have very minimal setback effect providing you eat right and drink plenty of water and green tea. Smoking even just a few cigarrettes is ALOT worse than having a few cold frosty ones at the end of the day.

Maaan Ive slowed down my AKAHOL intake alot. I use to drink every weekend(but still training) and realised that was holding me back from my gains... Maaan Ive slowed down my AKAHOL intake alot. I use to drink every weekend(but still training) and realised that was holding me back from my gains... I rearly drink now but save it for a specialy occasion and have become really lean .. 2-3 bottles gets me pissssssed now. But nothing tastes better than a nice cold beer on a hot day... Oh man lol

what if you drink alcohol with a high proof so that it takes less to fuck you up. I usually only get trashed on sat night but now its time to start my fitness back up. If i drink a high level proof vodka like say 3-5 shots will that really have that bad of an effect on my training.

i dont care what you say or do. You can do anything that you want and still stay in shape. it just depends on how committed you are to staying in shape. I drink 8-12 beers every night and i havent missed a beat. I cut down trees for a living working 70 hours a week. I guarantee that i am in better shape than someone that goes to the gym every single day. Dont listen to this bs. just stay active and you can stay in great physical shape!!!!!

Taking Whey (24 gms serving of protein) from the last month after workout (apart from 3-4 eggs). Interested in big arms/biceps only. Question : 1) Should I be taking Whey at all since I am not exercising apart from Biceps. 2) Should I follow same routine, will my biceps grow further (its at 15" after pumping).
