SBS is out of their mind without doing IIJIMAE2 as follow-up because this is such a great story with the best cast of actors ! PARK SI HOO 's stunning look, very impressive appearance....A legendary story becomes a classic TV series ! i still watch it now in 2012...what have you missed, SBS?

wow the guards are terrible. Iljimae was wide open on the roof at 10:53 yet not one guard was were able to hit him with an arrow. still I like this show XD
OMO! I just seach up the actor for Little Lee Gyum because he is also in warrior baek dong soo. He has the EXACT same birthday as my little brother. It creeps me out so much!!!!
i told my self not to watch this again because the ending was sad and had alot of loose ends and it made me dwell over this drama. But then i fell in love with jun ki in this drama he's to damn hot! i cant get over him. so now im watching it all over again i cant seem to get over this drama.
@jualkyn ok SPOILER!! FOR NEW PEOPLES!!!!!! in the ending he got slashed at by his own sword, but his sword is blunt, its designed for only fighting and injuring people, not to kill anyone. So he actually didnt died, in the end everybody thinks he's dead cause he nvr came back, only his super close people know he's alive except they keep it a secret. So he still does his thing. the sad part is no one knows he's alive and he didnt end up with the nobles daughter. and well the scene itself is sad.
@devilfairy321 SPOILER Damn, that is quite a realistic ending but a very sad ending. T.T since it was the king who was responsible for all of the turmoils in his life, it is kind of hard to restore his nobility again. In the end, he still lost his family. This show, although it had happy moments for the most part it was incredibly sad and it was hard to watch. In fact I think it is definitely one of the saddest shows I have seen.

And I kind of wanted him to end up with that bongsoon (I think that was her name) girl but that never happens either. I hate open endings usually because I want a conclusion to a story. I guess the ending never shows what really happened to him.
@jualkyn SPOILER well he didnt want the people that he cares for to end up like his dad or get injured like bongsoon, so he keeps away so they will think he is dead. Also only REALLY close people contact him. There was a part where the noble daughter asked about him and they said he's fine. i wonder why she didnt ask "oh where is he i wanna c him" i was curious about that. Maybe she knew they werent ment to be? and i thought the nobles daughter was TOO nice and perfect. sucks he has to be lonely
@devilfairy321 SPOILER Do you remember what happened to the nobles daughters father? And yeah, I also do not remember what happened to his half brother jaewoo I think? (the angsty guy). And I think it does make sense because there is no way given the situation the nobles daughter would end up with him, he would not even accept that anyways because that would mean she would have to run away with him and pretty much ruin any chances of her living a rich and proper life.

the ending could mean that he is still alive. When he was cut by a king's servant he's still alive because the servant used Illjimae's blade which has no sharp edge so he didn't die and continued to steal like he always done.
