So i actually didnt go to Izmir, just flew in to Izmir airport. I went to Alacate and cesme, and it was AMAZING! I absolutely loved it and loved the people who were so kind and helpful. I definitely want to go back to Turkey and travel to Izmir and Istanbul next time...

Smyrna was Greek till the 1920... same with Constantinople... and turks didn't even see Cyprus till the 1570s and now you people since 1974 have moved in 100 000 settlers and 35000 troops. you think you own Smyrna Constantinople and Cyprus what happens when you get chased away the same way you did to the original owners?
