I used to see this on clear nights. What I used to do was have a scanner tuned to its frequency. On your next video about the ISS, could you haver a radio tuned to its frequency so we can lisen to it as well? Just a thought. Great video. 5/5* * * * *
Hi Vikram, thank you for the nice comment. Yes, I always listen on three of the frequencies that the ISS use but I haven't heard anything from them in ages.
Thank you again Vikram for taking the time to comment it's much appreciated.
Well done mate. I still find it amazing that you can see a man made object at that distance! Id very much be interested in that link also, if you'd care to share. 5* in any case.
Hi James, yes there is but better then that you can download a satellite tracking program which is FREE. I'll send you a message with the link to the website.
Hi Micky, yes it was moving quite fast plus the camera's not that good in the dark. The ISS is a lot brighter and bigger than it looks here and you'd see it with no problem. I use a satellite tracking program so I can see where it is, thats how I know when it's going over.
hi Pete good video mate ,what F do they TX on and what mode?

Hi Tony.
Thanks for the comment. The Frequencies thay use are 145.800 FM and 143.625 FM but there are many more
frequencies in use, ie the UHF and SHF bands.
Best Wishes
Peter.
