None of the monsters can die.....thats right tehre immortal apparently the game tells you right from the begining. You can't do anything and your suppose to constantly run away from them with makes it fustrating when you want to check a place out. You don't even get a melee weapon...its just running , running , running.

Gamestop is your friend. I had to go to four different ones, got into a wreck attempting to find one [not caused by mine, someone ran a red light and slammed into my car], and ran through the pouring down rain. There are about 4 or 5 endings and every one of them is different depending how well you do in the game. I think that's how it is anyway.

The ending is ambiguous so yeah Konami left it to people to decide what happens. I personally think the "In Water" ending suits James's situation the most.
