Wonderful! A very nice program of pieces. I especially enjoyed the Massenent Meditiation ... really great ... a very subtle and sensitive performance ... one of your best to date. Thank you!
Thanks for the kind words, and the heads up on the typos. I'll make the changes as soon as I can figure out the key combos to get those charactors. :)
Excellent choice of songs, the minor chords blended in the snow and created this clima... Here in Argentina is summer and I felt the cold up there! Really great job Thomas, as usual.
I got the simplest kit, with just the electronics. I didn't realize how difficult it would be to find a suitable case, but I'm sure something will turn up. That or I'll just build my own.
Ah. Wood seems to work best, but I've seen everything from old nintendo and mac cases to nicely made wooden cabinets used to house theremin electronics. Head over to thereminworld's theremin construction thread to check out more info on theremin cabinet making.
Wow this was so peaceful sounding! A little bit minorish (except Thais), but though SUPER Winterscapes and I LOVED that sunset on the end ;-) Crazy this weather eh? It hardly snows overhere (only freezing moisty cold!) but there's quite a bunch overhere now too!
I couldn't resist using works in minor chords to help emphisize the coldness of the setting. :)
I wanted to capter the sun on the snow, but I was half a minute too late, and missed the sunglints on the snow. Perhaps next time. Hope it's not another couple of decades before I see this kind of snow again. :)
Very nicely done Thomas!. I always thought you guys had just about the same weather as we do!... I was fun to see whereabouts you live. Nice place!. Those snow covered tress are beautiful!
Hi, Thanks. Yes, the trees were pretty with the snow on them. The snow is nearly all gone now, with my yard being the only one on the block to still have snow on it. :)
That was absolutely wonderful, your selection of music and the video went well together. I recently acquired a Moog Theremin and can appreciate the difficulty in mastering such an interesting instrument. Thanks for sharing your interpretation, it was truly inspiring. :-)
THis is touching, Thomas... I enjoyed very much!

Isn't it interesting how the view counts lock up around 301 or 305?

I miss snow!! --An old New England gal, living in south Florida.
Music was great, I really must practice my theremin. Keep playing and inspiring me. Love the Meditation! (goes perfect with the snow)

It's funny how we move from the north to get away from the cold, and then we miss the beauty of the snow. :)
Stay tuned. More to come. :)

Great, I enjoy listening to your music (recorded with the theremin) everytime! :)
Just some small mistakes in the german description: It should say "Der Tod und das Mädchen" by Schubert.
greetings from your german subscriber ;-)

Glad you enjoyed it. How much snow did y'all get?
ThomasGrillo 1 year ago

It's odd that it snowed more in Mississippi than it did all winter up here in Washington, and it always snows here! Nice job!

Thanks. It's extremely rare that we get this much snow. The last time was in the late 90s, and before that, we had 6 inches in 1985.
ThomasGrillo 1 year ago
Last year was record breaking at 90 inches, but I guess we used it all up!
PIC0CASSETTE 1 year ago
Wow! 90 inches. That's a lot. We're lucky if we get a few. :)

Yes, it was too much.
I'm soldering my Theremax together right now and am really looking forward to learning from your videos!
