I heard the show that day,and the conversation about "Phony soldiers" was about guys pretending to have been in Iraq as soldiers or Marines,and turns out they made the whole story up..Usually they called talk shows,and screamed their opposition to the War in Iraq..That's what this is about,and if anyone says anything different,they have their head up their ass,and only heard it from someone else,and didn't hear it live

THEN, he played the comment, about 5 minutes Later where Rush would _like_ people to believe he said, "phony soldiers". In other words, Air America played his comment _IN_ context and the NeoCon media played it _OUT_ of context. Rush _did_ claim that combat troops that don't approve of Dubya's policy in Iraq are Phony Soldiers.
