@flashcadjr Mueller left. Mr. Mangus is now there as the director. I think Mueller helps a little but he's not the director anymore. He went to SWOSU to teach.

@SpartanG95 MHS? Moore? Mustang? if you went to Moore and practiced with them, you should be good. Mr. Mueller is a great instructor, i've seen him teach a band 3 hard songs, in just one week.

Ur an idiot that show was done 2 years ago. U should check out our show this year. It's amazing. Something u probably could never pull off. Even some of the judges said that the show this year is a hard show.

Nicely done. I enjoyed the show and I feel I must voice my opinion on the issue below. There is never anything wrong with on field communication. Mic placement MUST be a consideration when watching a video taped recording. Over hype or none, if you say mic placement didn't factor into that, then we gotta get those flags to quiet down at about 9 minutes. WAY TOO LOUD GUARD!!

Just so you know, I've been teaching for 8 years. And I still think you are wrong. You can hear dutting on the video that you can't hear in person because of where they place the mic. If you weren't there in person, you can't really make a comment. I saw the show many times over the season...and FYI - they did make finals at STL this year. And being one spot out in your first showing at the contest, yeah freaking awesome. How many bands go that never make it?

i have to make my appearnce known now. that was me dutting. YES, it was overdone. as you can hear in the video. i remember the moment. i was "over-hypin" the moment a lil bit cuz the show was going so well. but whats in the past is in the past. i cant change it now. we placed the highest in westmoore history with this show and im not dissatisfied at all. and imdkman, bombermwc is right, the mics they use for these videos SUCK! theyve used the same company for years and its always sucked

Not to mention this band was a fraction of a point away from being in finals at BOA STL...has consitently been in the top 3-4th spot in Oklahoma, which is one of the top marching states in the US. Whatever dude...get a life and quit spewing your uneducated nonsense.

Yukon didnt quite suck as you say, I think that music selection was a result of how you guys did, it didnt seem like the usual yukon music. But, the battery music was good as always, Yukon has one of the lines in the state

I don't really pay attention, I'm just one of the trumpet players. I know Mike Franklin, the drum tech, is very good at what he does. One of the things to back up my argument on how we did was just the negligence of the Freshmen. They didn't seem as devoted as the class I was in when I was a Freshman. Oh well, theres talk of a better show next year. Thanks for the reply!

Hey I will be going to Westmoore next year. Right now I am a freshmen at Brink. I was actually in marching band for two days then I quit. I am an oboe player and I was trying to play clarinet for marching. Didn't work out too well. Now I get to see what I missed out on? What grade are you in?
