  • I'm the only one who realized that bruno is hugo cabret (sorry for english, I'm from Brasil)

  • Absolutely bone chilling. It cuts straight down to the heart when you see it. NNo one should have to go through things like this. Especially children, no matter their race. R. I. P. to all those who lost their lives. :'(

  • i wacted this in lange arts class

  • I'm weird. I'm Jewish and Austrian/German.

  • @mjk0123456789 No way! I'm German Jew. Luckily, no one was holocausted, they all came to the US and kind of dropped their Jewish background, due to what happened in germany.

  • I finished watching the movie. Oh my god, that was the saddest ending ever D':

  • The Holocost was a TERRIBLE thing. Hitler should of had his entire head lit on fire and his limbs cut off. Seriously? ALL FOR BEING JEWISH?! god, now i appreciate living in America. My teacher told our class that it was weeks after these people died that US Soldiers found these camps. Abonded with Dead or tortured Civlians. I wish they could of gotten there sooner so they could kill those stupid fucking Albino Nazi's!

  • @ToxicGameplay115 America too has had their fair share if racism and enslavement of people. This should not make you appreciate living in America, as all countries have had there lows; and Germany is a great country to live in now.

  • I go the book for my 9th birthday from my grandma. I was very intrigued by it as there were no clues on the cover or blurb. I read it in one night, and cried throughout the next day. It was so amazing, and was my favourite book, Ans remains to be to this day. I think the trailer Revealed too much, as most trailers do, but my advice (if you think trailers spoil too much) is just not watch trailers:) x

  • i feel depressed. a child, no one for that matter, should have to go through that. And because of a father's actions, his own son died because of it. i have deep respect for all people, but for some reason Jews have a speacial place in my heart and i have deep passion for fighting against anti-semitism.hate only leads to more hate and the cycle starts again. love is louder. stop all hate and remember those who parished because of it. regardless of religion, race, sexuality, ability, gender, age.

  • ειδα την ταινια και εκλαψαααααα....τρελα!

  • I saw this movie for the first time yesterday and by the end, I was depressed. this movie made me cry so much.. it really makes youo think about the things that happened in the past. Luckily things arent like that anymore and Im glad. Its a really touching story. Gotta read the book!

  • the book is so much different. But both make me feel equally terrible

  • i feal like a huge jerk for ever making jokes about this after i saw this i feal like i was one of the nazis i never knew! i will never make one more rude insult to jewish people everagain!!!

  • Proffesor Lupin from Harry Potter is on at 1:42.

  • I love the way this film divides Germans into a) those who knew nothing about the persecution of the Jews and b) those who knew but thought it was dreadful

  • PROFESSOR LUPIN! What are you doing in Germany?

  • amazing

  • Sieg Heil!

  • Oh my god. I love this movie, its like my favorite movie. I read the book and the movie, I was balling right after the book, and I finished it in like 3 days. I was halfway through the book when i read the rest that night. I watched the movie that same night too, on a school night. I ended up going to bed at 3 a.m. This will always be one of my favorite movies. I got so attached to it.

  • It's hard to believe so many people could be involved in such a movement, that so many were at fault for the holocaust. Though I know it's not like all the ignorant neo nazis think, who believe that all the soldiers were proud, and would do it again if they could. Most of the Nazi's either feared doing anything other then what they were ordered, or were so delirious in the nazi bandwagon, that they didn't know which way to swim other then the direction of the current.

  • dumb Nazis!!

  • @MudskyorMisty why did you do that? im reading the book!

  • Comment removed

  • @MudskyorMisty Not at all stupid i was about to see it dumb ass :I

  • Amazing book, moving story. I cried so hard, why the hell is our world so fucked up?

  • I cried so hard in this movie. It's so sad, but also very very well made.

  • "history in the making" it may be history, but not good history...this movie made me realize that humanity isn't just horrible now, it was always horrible..we live in a cruel world.

  • i hope 'HE' knows that he made his name in history for a very bad thing he did,

  • Beautiful yet sad book and the film is no different.

  • This film was so sad

I watched it in my history class</3 :((

  • people always talk about the holocaust like it was this singular terrible event that occurred long ago and must never be allowed to happen again.

But just like the world watched silently then, we watch silently now as torture and genocide happen now around the world. Somalia, Rwanda, Congo, Georgia, etc. Maybe in 50 years or so, we will talk about THOSE genocides while we ignore even more.

  • hahhaahahhahaahahahahahahhahaah jk

  • @xNas92 This isn't funny.

  • @dibbydibby2x4 To who?

  • @xNas92 This is not funny in any single possible way. Even if you're kidding, it's not at all a joke.

  • This video is amazing not only but also sadness

  • just finished the book. sobbed my eyes out. terrible part of history. it makes me feel like crawling in a hole to die with all of the terrible things "we" did. They were so innocent.... everyone was. the Nazis had no heart it seems to terrorize and kill people especially young children

  • @skylarsfamouss the crimes against children are beyond our imagination. If you feel that you must know more about what happened in that time, read about "Aktion T4" on wikipedia, chapter 3. Also the experiments of Josef Mengele on twin children (he was experimenting on prisoners in Auschwitz, the camp depicted in the movie).

What disturbs me the most is that in extermination camps, when trains came every day, the children were sent to immediate death since they were too small to work there.

  • @Mtbfanro i have just read things on both both of those.... aweful and cruel things to do... i can't believe someone would do that.... its just insane

  • this film never fails to make me cry

  • I cried at this its so horrible and how they mistakin a boy with hair for a boy that was meant to be balled

  • in this movie germans doing this to jewish people right so now a days in real jewish people doing the same to palstain people ,,,,is it fair? now jewish ppl are become hitler?

  • thatt kid reminds me of a really young daniel craig.

  • @LittleLuanah well, good then!! lol :D

  • @LittleLuanah oops! so sorry!!!! X(

  • the movie was great! but, the ending was a lil' bit tragic. i don't want them to die!!!
