Man, Sting has some of the coolest lyrics that I have ever heard. And then they set those wonderful lyrics to music...genius. Simply pure genius. I mean, "My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun.My hunger for her explains everything I've done."....awesome!!!!

Actually bobilly1492, Sting wrote "Moon Over Bourbon Street" based on LeStat. Listen to the lyrics and music. You'll see, and hear, Sting had LeStat down pat. I've read that Ann Rice wanted Sting to play LeStat, but was shot down. Bad, Bad, Bad. Have you ever seen "The Bride"? Sting is Dr. Frankenstein! Great movie. Sting would be a GREAT LeStat!

i must admit, the first time i heard this song was in 95 when Vanessa Williams sang it. then I later heard the version with Sting and Herbie Hancock. this is my first time hearing this version. it's a great song, whoever is performing it.
