Firefox picks random websites to crash on... I'm not sure why it does that but you can always download Safari which is a pretty good alternative.

Originally I thought firefox was the best browser, but then a friend of mine downloaded google chrome on my computer.

It runs a lot (emphasis on the a lot) faster than firefox and barely ever crashes, I really recommend it

So, these crashes, do they occur when you try to play videos on YT or just by entering the site? Does sound like an addon related issue so if the crashes occur when you try to play videos my guess would be: Update to the latest version of Flash.

(1)Find on a nice place on the floor.

(2)Draw a circle with a Eye of Horus

(keep reading it gets better)

(3)Then you pray to Thor.

(4)Horus and Thor will battle it out, and destroy each others manifestations.

(5)When that happens it resets everything in that part of the universe to perfect condition, including Firefox.

I had the same problem man. I cleared all my settings and uninstalled everything adobe [besides PS and AE] and went to the adobe website and installed it there. If you try installing it with the firefox add-on feature or through youtube, it doesn't work for some reason. Hope it helped man

And I like that the few times FF /does/ crash, it allows you to open up to the last saved.

You can try deleting your Firefox profile. Hit start and type %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Prof­iles\ in the "Search programs and files" box and hit enter. Delete the folder there (will be a random string followed by .default). This has fixed my Firefox before. You can also try uninstalling and re-installing the Flash plugin.
