Converting Flash to HTML5, is all this app does for $2.99 on the App Store. Also, the App Store says the app is rated: "You must be at least 17 years old to download this game: Frequent/Intense Sexual Content or Nudity." I'd download this app, but you're restricted from playing Flash games or Hulu.

Its a little slow while surfing. Flash videos plays ok, but you cant go forward o backward because its streaming. And you cant view live streaming cam sites. But well, its a start.

Okay, I plunked down the $2.99 for the app and it's a 50-50 proposition on whether or not the video will play and even if it does play, it's slow. And to add insult to injury, it's not even a universal app - don't look good at 2x for the iPad. You might have satisfied Apple to get approval but I'm not a happy customer at the moment.

skyfire works via a proxy server that hosts the video to you simulating flashcontent ,making it slow and ugly :) just get a android phone already

Crap browser. Probaly because the apple feedback.transcoding flash into html5? Slow.. Doesnt even work in the browser itself anymore, instead a tab opens showing the video. And finally, no flash applications support. This app is fuucked up and broken down, because all the shit terms apple required you to do. This aint the great skyfire i always liked anymore. Just put it on cydia, WITH all the great features. And let the app store be. PLEASE!

Although I agree with most of what you are saying it does have some awesome features and will easily be the best damn browser out there for iphone users.

But yeah...they should screw apple and create a nice full featured flash loving version for cydia, I'd gladly pay 4 dollars for that.

Being on the appstore i'll just have to crack it and use for free because the appstore is a huge pain for payments in my situation.

Whereas i have spent a considerable amount of my hard earned cash in cydia through the wonders of paypal....Just though i'd put that out there.

@bubbahxzx read up on the new HTML5 video parameters.. you can stream videos purely from HTML5 markup now. Many browsers support it.. including the latest versions of Safari and Firefox.
