  • Mazel Tov...greetings from Lima-Peru

  • Can someone please explain to me, why do some of the men have long curls at the side of their faces?

  • @EliraSTAR1 jewish men don't cut the corners of their hair. for some men they just keep sideburns, for others they don't cut it at all and let it grow. they keep it in curls as a way to keep them neat and presentable.

  • My daughter's wedding is this Friday---5 days away! I hope their video turns out as nicely as this one! Can't wait for the ceremony---and the party! May the Creator bless them always.

  • I keep coming back to this beautiful wedding---it's only a month and a half till our youngest daughter's wedding, the last one of five. How wonderful....and how sad. I pray that my daughter and her new husband will be as joyful and happy as Diane and Eliyahu obviously are!

    I apreciate your answer .

God bless you and your family

    Happy Chanuka

  • At such a happy occasion the rabbis tell us that we must also remember that our world is not perfected -- that there is much work needed to correct the world. More specifically, we are supposed to remember that our Temple in Jerusalem is not yet rebuit. So we break the glass to make that idea real.

  • Thank you Notowitz!

I appreciate your patience with me I may do this in to my wedding some day, but I didnt know it before you explain that to me.

Again God Bless you and your Family

    Shalom Israel.

  • i know it may sound weird, but i admire the jews! ever since i moved to UK, i wondered why people picked on. my mom and i both read a book on them and it made me want to be a jew! everytime i'm on the bus and i drive thru their community i look at - their clean homes, happy family and no sickness. makes me wonder what they have that i dont. i will just admire from a far....

  • at about 5:16, bride (and groom??) go into a separate room?? is their any particular reason (i.e is it a custom like breaking the glass?) or just something that happened because it happened?

  • Bride & groom go together into a private room immediately after the ceremony, so they can be alone for the first time as a married couple, without anyone else present. They usually spend about 10 minutes alone there, before emerging to join the public celebration.

  • notowitz is very talented, i wish he would be here in germany, i marry on 4. september!

The couple is very beautiful and what a breathtaking bride she is.

I'm not Jewish myself, I am Catholic but I do so enjoy being able to learn about the Jewish religion as well as other religions so I can teach my children to respect religions other than our own.
