Yeah, I knew it. Blur without Coxon sounds odd. Worse (my opinion) than "Blur" (great album), "Parklife". Singles on "Think Tank" was bad (badly mixed "Crazy Beat", boring (yes, boring!) ballads "Good Song", "Out of time"). But I don't think this album is absolutely rubbish.
I thought so too; i don't think there are songs suitable to be "singles" on that album; it sort of flows together. Sweet Song, Caravan or We've Got A File On You(yes I love it), Jets etc were really good, just not the song to make as a "single".
"Jets" is great and sounds very nice, but some of the reasons exclude it as a single. For example I'm talking about saxophone solo. Very strange, but so original.
These SHOULD have been the singles (in order):
Sweet Song
Out of Time
The Outsider
On The Way To The Club
"Sweet Song" has potential.
"Battery In Your Leg" is crap compared to "The Outsider".
