quick question, because I am honestly wondering, can piano be considered "strings" since those are what are actually making the sounds? Cream794 made me think of it with their quote re "I love the strings at the end they're epic". I do understand what are normally considered "strings", violin, etc

The piano is actually considered a percussive instrument, since what's making the sound is actually the *hitting* of the strings.

dude lay off the green.. or atleast do it and soak up some information at the same time.. piano IS percussion.. strings are bowed or plucked the piona is struck by hammers covered in felt... and this mechanism took about a 100 years to develope properly, if you go to the music section of the museum in Munich you can see this.. or do an online search.. hope this prevents any major sweat beads forming on the brow
