hahah he makes me laugh, he climbs mountains, cliffs, and digs rocks to get around to the other side, funny thing is, if you watch carefully, there are paths through to the other side, and if you're lost in such a place, you wouldn't want to waste your energy climbing up such a high top, especially when you don't have food, haha saw this one episode, he climbed and walked for 30 minutes and then got to a town, but if you look at the surrounding, it was exactly where he was in the first place

Okay here are some explanations for why those rules dont apply very well in the position he was in: 1. If he had sat on that little rock when he got out of the water the sun would have drained his energy just as easily 2. How would he obtain food by just sitting on that rock 3. There was no fresh water near him so he needed to waste a little bit of energy to be able to obtain a whole lot more. So he did climb that mountain for a reason, and who cares if you've been "stuck" before (which i doubt)

Im sorry but if any average joe did what Bear shows they would die. End of story. That is my problem with him. The main rule of survival is stay put not go on these treacherous journeys through cannons. And he puts himself into the WORST possible situations or even makes the situations seem more dangerous than they actually are. But again its entertaining to watch and pick out flaws in his methods.

he puts himself into the worst possible situations to inform people what to do if they happen to be in those horrible situations. he needs to show as many surviving techniques as he can to help you. remember, if you are in an emergency situation, then you cannot choose the easiest/hardest route. that is why bear shows how to survive the hard way.

Ya i get that. BUT as i said the average person cannot do half the shit he does in this show and alot of his ideas are plain out retarded. In one episode he went from the high land into a cannon(no gaurentee of an exit) anyone without a rescue team that would be a risk so large it would be idiotic. The fact is he has several medical staff and rescue staff with him at all times because in reality what he does in the wild is absolutly obsolete to a person actually stuck.
