I've found that leveling as a prot warrior is better than fury (as fury or arms you eat every 3-4 fights, as prot you eat every 12-15 fights, and you can take on 8 enemies at a time).

For warriors level as arms. if you level in fury you will mainly do sucky damage and chance to hit is low. in arms you will do more damage and such.

Fury gives you a lower downtime, downtime is everything, I would prefer no downtime and take 5% longer to kill a mob than to kill a mob faster and have downtime.

i found prot pala more effective for leveling, ret you usually take 1v1, but as prot you can take 5+ depending on your gear, and you die less often from the increase of health, armor and avoidance

druids are better feral for leveling, then when you max out your level go blance, it hits more...unless your a tank or healer ofcourse. Also i think shamans are better elemental then enhancement, even though enhancement may seem 'cooler'.
