Hey I never spoke a word about the benz, I actually really like the E55 AMG, and yes I have driven one multiple times. It is the fastest four door I have ever driven. But on the same token two completely different cars and target buyers. Nobody stares at the AMG when you drive by, the shelby gets thumbs ups and comments daily and draws crowds while the benz is a sleeper that catches people by surprise at the light.
With a name like svtmattUT I have to be a little biased ;-) Again - I love the AMG it's just a personal opinion that they look too similar to the regular E series, if you miss the wheels, AMG badge or quad exhaust you might not notice is all. Doesn't make it any less of a car.

Had the Shelby not broken traction, that MB would have been beaten by about 4 car lengths. German engineering is going to crap these days. American power has WAY more potential.
