If you added more compression on the drums and bassline it would be almost identical. That bass needs to kick a little more, I cannot tell if its a DX7 bass or analogue to be honest but you have it nailed. What kit did you use for this?Excellent effort btw.

@srbrant I do use an external keyboard to play each part but all the sounds are from the computer via software synths.

When it comes to making covers sounding just like the original im super-critical in my analysis. In this case i have absolutely nothing to point out - its so near flawless that the only thing that could make it sound better is contacting Chris Lowe and beg him to send u the midifiles and equipment :) Very, very nice job indeed!
