  • any1 keen for a wake board?

  • Waterjets are awesome ? Is this diesel or gas turbine powered ?

  • @peterpocasset It is diesel, it has four 20 cylinder engines with over 7000kw of power each. Two engines are for slow speed use in and around harbours and the other two engines are for the high speed use.

  • hi can you please tell me what it is like is it bumby and stuff if u could i would be very greatful because i am going on it in 1 week time

  • @MrCallofdutymad It will be a smoothe ride, it won't go up and down like a single hulled ship, it cuts straight through the waves to make a level ride. I was on it once when it was rough in the English Channel and it rocked sideways a bit but not enough to spill drinks or fall onto other people.

Let me know what you thought of the ride after you have been on it.

  • @MrBooojangles ive been on condor too the last time i went on it was very rough i was chucked against the window it hurt

  • @MrBooojangles

    it was fast and good

  • By the way 40 knots is: 46.03118 M.P.H precisely.

  • I prefer the Vitesse to the express personally.

  • dam rite, i worked on both this year and much prefer vitesse. it has character

  • When was this filmed?

  • 20th July 2006 somewhere in the middle of the English Channel.

  • How fast is 40knots?, thanks for commenting on my 777studios video.

  • Thats okay. 40 Knots is about 45 mph. You add a little over 10% to convert knots into mph.

  • iknow but color line is the best ever!=)

  • color line owns

  • I have done some checking but I am sorry you are wrong.

Unless there is another Condor Express around your area, this Condor Express was definately built new for Condor Ferries Ltd by Incat in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia and it is owned by Condor Ferries Ltd.

I remember it in the local news saying they drove it all the way from Tasmania to Weymouth, England for them to do sea trials in before using it.

I can't find any mention of Condor Express on Color Lines website either.
