They sound similar, but she is indeed a good singer. Amy however has more attachment and feels her music, she looks like she's just there for show and rocking out which is interesting, just no feel however. They are good, VERY good to be exact. I'm a fan for both of them, but she seems to just be singing it not feeling it. I want to see some of their own stuff to see her actually GET INTO her own music and sing with passion. Not show.

This isn't Evanescence it a band called we are the fallen and it made up of former Ev members and Carley whatever her name is. Evanecsence still has Amy Lee and they are releasing a new CD 2010.

She's a good singer, but doing all these covers of Evanescence songs and playing some of them with Ben Moody himself is just a little outta hand. She can't expect the public to take her serious if she's just trying to copy-cat someone. It's a shame, I would like to see her go in her own direction, her voice is different than Amy's. She has a FABULOUS voice, but her interpretation of this song is too forceful. It lacks the plaintive element of pleading, the longing for meaning in an empty existence devoid of hope.  It seems like she's banging the song into some type of girl-power ballad... ugh.

my thing for this is Amy is a lot more haunting, while Carly is more powerful. that comes down to personal preference, but i think amy really can only do this kind of sound, where as carly is a lot more versatile, so overall she is the better singer.

Its not the same as actually being there. Yesturday(July 30th) they were in Newark, NJ (at the Prudential Center) and they were simply incredible.
