Urmm, you should have been more specific on what type of rap. I'm a huge fan of hip-hop, but I'll admit that people like Lil' Wayne, Flo Rida, Soulja Boy, and most other new rapers are terrible. If you want a good example of hip-hop done correctly look up Tupac, Wu-Tang Clan, Kieth Murray, NWA, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre...mainly hip-hop from the past.

The reason why I listen to people like that is because they have a message, great beats and great flow. But the hip-hop of today sucks.

I share your disgust with Flo Rida - particularly your observation on his rapping, that grates. But to suggest that Rap as a genre sucks is ridiculous to be honest. And there are other reasons why i think rap sucks like how they talk instead of sing, but that is my opinion. alot of people think old rock sucks like the music i listen to, U2, rolling stones, nirvana ect. but thats there opinion.

Rap as much as I hate to call it music, is pretty much theft music. They steal someones song, sample it, loop it and butcher it. I'm glad to say that I have never bought a rap CD and never will unless you want to lump the Beastie Boys in there that can actually write music and play instruments. If you want to listen to real rap or hip hop music, listen to old school (late 80's to mid 90's) and underground. You will never find good rap music on MTV, BET, or the radio. The songs that you mentioned in the video are what I consider "crap" or "hip pop" music.
