bakingsoda+Salt+water mixed in heavy enought soloution to still see mostly through the souloution then put tinfoil in a tub (plenty of foil larger than the size of the silver piece) pour soloution into the tub ontop of the foil then drop the silver piece ontop of the foil W8 till its (Silver) again

take a bowl. take som aluminim foil and put it in the buttom of the bowl. but your silver thing in to it. take some baking soda in it, until the silver is all coverd by baking soda. then take som more aluminium foil and put it over. then take som hot water and pour it on everything. wait like 10 minutes. then take the silver out and take some toilet paper and take all that black thing of it. this way is the best way to do it cuz u dont scrape of any silver.

i just got me sum silver wash. i put my stuff in there, left it in for bout 20 mins, got it out and it was shiny new...its an old trick with the toothpaste but eh...for real hardcore dirty silver you should use sum pro stuff to not ruin the silver and get ir real clean.
