They use percentages not numbers -.- They're not just counting how many people are smoking it, they find out what percentage of the population uses and compare it to the percent of usage in other countries. I am not against using medical marijuana if it works great but it is a fucking illegal substance and people should quit using it illegally. Oh and by the way alchohal and cigarettes are not worse, marijuana when smoked almost immediately begins effecting the heart and increased your odds of a heart attack by nearly 400%, 2 times more than ciggarettes. The 'gateway drug' theory is cased because of prohibition, people that would have otherwise never been exposed to hard drugs in a regulated marijuana market, are forced to buy it illegally from people who usually sell more than just weed. They go to buy some and the dealer informs them he had E or acid ect. If your never around something and you don't know where to get it, you probably won't try it. Use of hard drugs among teens went down in Amsterdam when it was legalized there

That's actually not true, at all. Any teen will tell yo how much easier it is to get weed than cigarettes and alcohol. Dealers don't care how old you are and there are about 5-10 of them at every highschool (trust me, I just graduated) Frig I could by weed every single day if I wanted to with no problem at all. When it came too booze or cigarette, let me tell you A LOT more difficult and A LOT more time consuming, I can't count the number of times I just gave up and bought weed.

They use percentages not numbers -.- They're not just counting how many people are smoking it, they find out what percentage of the population uses and compare it to the percent of usage in other countries. So it doesn't matter if you have more people or not because it's the ratio of users to non-users. Pretty basic stuff...
