  • Man, it's just so sad! But in the book it was 2 years later when he fell in love with Katie, whom I hate, not 12 months. I think it's a bit too soon, I mean he didn't just lose his wife or his son but both, that's just unimaginable to deal with =/ The movie was pretty accurate to the book, they only changed a few things.

  • Awe.. it's so heartbreaking! I named my son Nicolas (no H) after the baby in this novel. I never knew there was a movie, but it brought tears to my eyes. I can't imagine losing my son. The novel inspired me to fall in love with the name Nicolas. <3 He's going to be 12 months in one week.

  • Suzanne got pregnant a second time. That's not in the movie!!

  • @ the last part where Kate says "it'll keep" it's not clear to me what she meant...is it b/c if she does tell him that she's pregnant she'll scare him? he's been through so much.

i've ever read the book but i love all of the characters. Jonathon Schaech (Matt) did a great job! Character Kate did an amazing job. i liked her character.

  • I thought nicky stayed home with matt!!! Did nicky die in the book?!?!

  • @nicolelovesyou4321 yes, he did. but in the book, nicky died at 12 months and obviously, nicky died at 4 months in the movie

  • he had 12 months with nicholas, not 4! liars!!

  • What was the last thing she said?

  • @ibislee It'll keep.

  • I read the book a couple of years ago, very nice story indeed. Thanks for uploading

  • Characters don't look like in the book says :S

  • Really good. Going to get the book this week..,

  • Did anyone else notice that Suzanne(Christina Applegate) Was married to that guy that plays her husband in the movie in real life? He was also in the sweetest thing when he bought her a drink, remember leather coat guy?

  • I love this book. I wasn't happy with the casting of Matt. I was looking for a much stronger person who would fulfill a stronger character. Over all, the movie melted my heart and it had a lot of deep feelings.

  • Great movie.. Thanks for sharing!!

  • The book was absolutely amazing:) I adored the character of suzanne in the book nd christina was a wonderful choice to play her but i didnt like the actors playing matt nd katie in the movie..i didnt feel connected to them nor believed what they were trying to portray..christina did a really good job, i wished they would have shown more suzanne-nicky scenes together..in the book he takes 2 years to finally move on nd he is still wounded by wht hppnd bt jst 18 mnths in the movie??

  • i hate how the timeline is so different in the film.

in thhe book it was exactly two years to the day that they died the night she was going to tell him about the pregnancy.

It seems like he rushed into a relationship far too quickly.

Beautiful book, lovely film. I always cry

  • a really good movie hats off to the author and director :P

  • thanks for uploading this! this is a good movie, although it did seem rushed a lot but it was still good and had the feelings the book had. that book is soo amazing and wonderfully written.

  • Movie was a pretty good interpretation but I still think the book captures the emotions and the overall situation better. I think it is a very good movie though...still made me cry! lmao

  • i didn't like the way did the ending. i read the book and loved it! the movie doesn't do the book justice but i enjoyed it. thanks!

  • I was shocked when I saw there was a movie version of this book.

This book is one of my favourites, and I did quite like the movie, except the ending was quite rushed.

The book was much better though.

Thank you for putting the movie up. :)

  • My favorite book in the world, movie was good but doesn't hold a candle to the book. Im with akicia i don't like Kate in the movie at all.

  • The book is better but i really liked this movie.

  • The book is better but i really liked this movie.

  • thanks so much for uploading the movie.. i had read the book and just knew abt the movie...hahahha.... but...i definitely like the book more...btw, i didn't know whether anyone notice...i don't hear in any part of the movie they mention about the story of five balls that was the main lesson in the book? or i missed it somewhere?

  • the book is better

  • movie is okay, very different from the book, which is MUCH better. I didn't like the ending of the book, but I REALLY didn't like the ending of the movie! awful!

  • I love this Film.I like the book.Christina looks beautiful!

  • I really feel that it doesnt do the book justice, but isnt that usually the case? It could have been a more dramatic movie instead of a made for t.v., B rated film.

  • I like the book better.

    The movie is okay.

But the book s much better.

  • this sucked

  • i cryed...): its soo sad.

  • this movie didnt do justice to the book. I love the book more. thank you anyway for uploading the movie.

  • i can't belive how good and sad this movie is...i have never read the book so i don't know how much better it is...but also i liked Suzanne more too she seemed nicer and more fun. it was sad when she died and the even sadder thing was when nicholas died because i didn't see that coming...so sad :(

  • Me either. I totally didn't see that coming. I kinda figured she died but not the baby.

    I cried.

  • the book is like 10x better than this movie, but i still liked it! it made me cry!.. so did the book, lol

  • Yeah, if you liked the movie, OMG is the book like a billion times better.

  • You'd like the book even more!

  • i like suzanne more also. she's a loving wife and mom for her family. why is katie doesn't braid her hair here?

  • I like Suzanne more D:

  • Me too.

  • I dont like katie in the film, she annoys me, but in the book her character is a lot better, she's stronger and not clingy in the book.

Movies never really do books complete justice, but this is still very well done, thanks for putting it up :)

  • thank you sooo much

    <3

  • Hi, can anybody tell me what does she say at min 4:52? Cause I couldn't understand. Thanks!
