Interesting. I've never seen this kind of Silat. Because Silat, honestly, has no connection with religions or whatsoever. Just spiritual philosophy that you mimic the movement of certain kinds of animals. And also is a culture of the Malay race(Indonesian, Malaysian, South Thai) as to Kung Fu and Karate is to the orientals.

strange comment. spiritual and religous are quite similar terms. the video was shot in malaysia, so i never claimed its not a malay art. finally malays, indonesians and tahis are also orientals. i really have no idea what you meant with this.

@destroyxeverything Silat has connection with religions. Its in the higher level of silat, called batin, or maybe other name such as kanuragan. sometimes only the Malays(this term include Bugis,Java,Dayak and lots of other races in Malay archipelago) are allowed to learn this knowledge.Thats why, when some naive westerners come to SEA, and said something similar like what u said, we smiled and laugh secretly at them. The westerners come to South East Asia and suddenly an expert in Silat? :)
