@xXNeX1997Xx I think it's easier on PS3 (and xbox, i guess) than pc, in a way... you get on target quicker on PC, yes, but you get killed quicker too. So that means you have less chance of quickscoping up close, while middlerange is better. But QS'ing on PS3 can be whatever range...

@wetwilly911 depends on how you look at it. If you always shoot guys in the head, then no. A silencer makes it so that you have to hit the neck or head to get a one-shot-kill, this is the same for any sniper.

@wetwilly911 it depends on where you shoot him. if you use a silencer and hit him in the neck, its a 1 shot. if you hit him below the chest its gonna take another shot. if your going to put a silencer on a sniper, i suggest the psg1 or the dragunov.

@deshaune9000 Damn, you guys are starting to amuse me here. If you have watched Black Ops gameplay on Youtube before, then you should know why it looks like it "curves". It's been so long since the release and there are STILL people that don't understand that this is filmed in THEATRE MODE!

what I never understood about black ops... that you clearly missed when it was a kill... the crosshair was clearly NOT on the guy and you still got the kill... how do you do that? do you have to calculate the chances in or what?

other thing: sometimes the crosshair is right on the body of the enemy but I dont even get a hitmarker... sniping is weird in black ops

this is why i call BS on sniping in COD, I have downloaded several "master sniper" vids from you-tube and when I when I watch them in slow-mo, they cross hairs are not on the target when they kill them.

@TheDemolition2000 Then you use the wrong rifles... sniping in hardcoremode in BC2 is a garuanteed 1-hit-kill if you use the m24, gol, m95 or sv98... and in cod it's a 1-hit-kill in the chest or above with the L96, BUT if you hit them in the chest it has a tendency to count it as a stomach hit (or sumthin). You can blame that on bad hitboxes and/or server lag.

@jmfilms940 i've said this before, I am playing on PC. There are many priviledges to play on PC, one of them is that you can adjust how you look "at things". I have kinda zoomed out the camera just a little bit, but you can't do that on xbox or ps3.

Just wanted to know, "How do you snipe with an ACOG Scope?" I mean, The iron sights or whatever when I ADS is dead center of my enemy, but then I still miss. BTW, I ADS for about 2 seconds before shooting.

@Darkfoxx999 Of course it is swaying, but since this is ON THE PC I can move my mouse to minimize it... and of course it helps with the Scout perk which allows me to hold breath for like 7 seconds :)

@iplayre4lol Actually I have had the same problem ;\ I really don't see the point in having the variable zoom anyways, it's just seems like a bother to me :p and I play better with the extended mags... But yes, I would say that is normal :-) The Infrared Scope is worth trying too, it's pretty good ^^

@xheartshapebox That has to be annoying ;\ It might be a ping/internet connection problem, which makes it what you see actually happened 0,1-0,5 seconds ago. Internet connection problems are usually the bitchiest "small" problem you can have when playing :(

Nice vid, it would be a lot better with voice, instead of text, but overall a nice tut on basic snipe. I like the fact that unlike most youtubers you defend the objective WHILE collecting kills, most ppl just use objective game modes to whore kills without caring about the objective. Keep em coming!!
