  • So i just clean my kefir grains with cooled boiled water and let them dry in a some hot place, they turn black? then I can reuse them again and they will work just fine like before??

  • I kept mine for several months in coconut water and they populated

  • Thanks for all of the information! Very informative video :)

  • What temp should you dehydrate at?

  • I need clarification,,,if I put the grains in an organic milk solution wouldn't the milk gets spoiled after a week or so?

  • @qasion the 'spoiling' is the fermenting process

  • @Flamingo001 OK thanks. I was throwing my milk in the drain because of the sour taste of it every time I do a patch, usually in 24 hours.

  • @qasion Well yes, that's what you get. You did it the right way. And that's the product., if you don't like sour too much then you can change the taste adding some other things to it.

  • Holly molly,,Shakira??? :-)

  • At what temp do you dry them in the dehydrator?

  • can I use REAL maple syrup?

  • Correct pronunciation can be fun!

    Try saying keh-FEER.

    It's not Kiefer Sutherland.

    ; )

  • @1GodOnlyOne That's not correct pronunciation you stupid fuck.

  • @SocalDNM Sure it is. You need to get yourself a dictionary.

More importantly, you need to take an anger management course -- they really do wonders helping individuals such as yourself begin to lead normal, productive lives.

    I will pray for you!

  • thankyou that answered all my questions :)

  • thank you so much for this info. you are a great source. besides being easy to watch ;;- thanks

  • is it bad if i feed kefir to my cat he has a terrible diarrhea so i thought that might be a good idea to help. i use pasterized there is nothing wrong with it in fact its better, raw milk might be better to help but paster is safer, less likely to have contaminate organisms, cuz raw is a risk, as long as your pasert milk has no antibiotic or hormone then what is the problem?

  • Where did they come from?! That's what I wanna know! I gave mine some manuka honey in the milk, which went well, but then they seemed to gradually disappear... I think I killed them with a metal spoon :(

  • @MsVenaLuna YOu may have killed them with the honey. Honey can be anti-microbial.

  • @MsVenaLuna yeah, metal is a no no for kefir, use wooden/ plastic utensil

  • Thanks you so much!

You are really have it! ;-)

  • What temp and how long do you dehydrate the Kefir grains?
