I thought the hospital room looked familiar! My son was just at Cook's last week for sinus surgery. He was so funny after taking the "giggle juice!" He kept wanting to climb out of the bed! I think it is a good idea to give to the kids because it can be frightening being wheeled into the OR without mom and dad. That's great that Eddy is doing well!

@cupcake110473 my best friends had that stuff when they underwent scoliosis surgery when they were 12. the surgery scared them so bad, but when they had some of that stuff, they were happy.

wow ....this almost seems wrong to do to a child lol I'm glad he was ok and that's awesome that he was in such good spirits before surgery having two kids I would only hope they would be laughing before surgery not crying........

@x0811b it made a fun event & memory for my son & our family. Inside, our hearts were being ripped out...his dr's choice to medicate showed he wanted to treat a patient & not just a body. Eddy could've acted-out when taken to surgery by stange folks in a mask. He wheeled away from us singing & laughing. It was easier on all of us. We are thankful to the staff of Cooks Children's Hospital. Let's hope your kids only visit a hospital to say hello. Thanks for your comment...Eddy says hello...lol
