  • god thats a bad bike

  • Nice Bike. Please be safe riding. Don't want to see you get hurt or mess that nice bike up. I have one just like it and am buying another one next month. Be safe and.... Party on Dudes!!!!

  • BEAUTIFUL SOUND !!!

  • Holyshit! That's awesome! So much for being an old man's bike. I want one. Now.

  • I'm on my 36th motorcycle, and the K100 RS was one of my best, even better than the R1100S.

I love those Flying Bricks !!

  • @canals22 CHEERS

  • glad to see someone younger than me on beemer.......62 and riding the edge .........tay out of my way Sunday drivers cause the K bike is gonna run you down...sounds mean bro

  • You suck

  • zwe66 posted the following comment then he turned chicken and removed it, then blocked his channel. Must have finally taken his meds.

    zwe66

"Now all that noise is unnecessarily stupid and just plain immature… Perhaps you need to sell that BMW and buy a Harley or a Ninja, so you can be a true “Poser” to make for lack of testosterone. Who knows, maybe all that Harley vibration just might get your left one to drop so you can qualify as a man."

  • trade it in on an s1000rr, you wont regret it :)

  • @zwe66 Did you forget your medication today? Have your Doctor increase the voltage at your next Electroconvulsive therapy Session. Maybe playing with your zhu zhu Hampster will help.

  • I have the same exhaust on one of my Beemer's, Try taking the end cap off if you want it really loud. Did that for a few weeks until the neighbor's called the cops on me for the 2nd time.

  • @eurobikefan

Yep,,this was without the baffles..Very deep and loud..now the screws in the exhaust , well the nut must be broken loose and I can't remove the baffle without drilling out the screws.

  • daha - its more like a tractor. with the pack in the pipe, you can't here it in a pack of harleys. Kinda like my wing, I have to check to see if its running, lol.

  • Sounds like a UJM to me. Then again I'd rather be seen than heard.

  • Great video!

I just put the Luftmeister on my 85 k100 , sounds awesome. It was completely gutted, so it's pretty darn loud.

  • That sounds so cool! :) I have a stock K1000Rs as well as a V-Max and I didn't realise the K100 could sound so sweet

  • I have the 85 with luftminster pipe, and I love the sound and performance, same color also. I have alot of work to get done, but seeing what it will look like when it's done is very inspire! ring!

  • Do a youtube search for Hitler VFR. you will get a kick out of it. Someone stole his VFR and some officer took it upon himself to get him a BMW as a replacement. Hitler is Furious.. Funny

  • What kind of word is asshat? Is that like a Jackass on a kx250 powered lawnmower? lol

  • honestly i think my car is faster than that bike. all noise no movement. what a waste of time

  • Well, It's a German Motorcycle, A BMW, It's Not a Fast Bike. 12.1 quarter mile, and 140 mph top speed,, all with 63 BHP. About as quick as a good running 1984 Yamaha RZ350. It does run better with the Baffle in.

  • thats a hella slow bike man. Not a sport bike id get

  • Max Power 90 hp (66 KW) at 8,000 rpm

Max Torque 86 Nm / 63 ft lb at 6,000 rpm

  • I got my specs from cycle world magazine, not a reliable source.

My bike actually only produced 64.8 peak horspower on a dyno. Power is like a tractor, steady and throught the rpm range.

  • Okay, did not expect that, but you have to take into account that the shaft drive also absorbs power. And i do not know if the american models have stricter exhaust emissions. The figures i have are from the manuel of my Bmw K100RT 1984. But you just have to love that sound!

  • i have a k100rs 16 valve 100 horse power at the crank but by the time it gets to the back wheel you have to allow about minus 20%

  • an 8 valve K100RS produces 90hp not 63hp

  • My Actual Dyno results only produced maybe 64. I wil have to pull the sheet to check for sure, I know it was less than my buddy's Harley, but there was a longer range of more horsepower.

  • @Champ1964

The 90 hp is at the crankshaft, and with a drive shaft you have a lot of losses in the transmission. Is the 64,8hp with the new exhaust? Have you changed the injection afterwards?

  • @BowlerTD I bought the bike with the Luft pipe on it already. I have never tried to calibrate the Fuel injection.

  • @Champ1964 yup i have heard it is around 62hp very slow bike

  • @kalzx Speed on this bike is not an issue. Fast enough. can run 120 mph all day long and be very stable at that speed. There are Lots of quicker and faster bikes, not so many as stable and durable. not a great city bike. loves long sweeping higher speed roads. Made for the German Autobahn. Warm to ride in the winter. If I want to go quicker, I ride my ZRX1200. Don't need anything faster. The bike is 24 years old and still looks and runs like new. as fast as my GL1800 Goldwing.

  • K100 RS has a 0-100 in 4 seconds flat 0-160 in 11.6 so ehm yeah your murcieliago could probably beat that...... twat

  • lol that pos will not do 0-100 in 4 seconds. unless you're talking about kms then im not impressed

  • Ofcourse i'm talking kms, it is euro! and still faster then whatever your driving.

  • by less than 1 second..... it aint impressive. its ugly. it has an annoying sound. and it aint faster than the bike ima be riding here pretty quick

  • @wtfunder Whats up man, not everyone wants to ride about on a track bike, being a motorcyclist isnt about how fast you can go, its the pleasure you get from riding and the convenience, if your thinking of getting a bike for speed only then stick to tracks or you'll lose your life

  • @2wheelsteve I own a 08 gixxer 1000... so im not thinking about getting a bike. PLus this guy is Showing speed off on the highway. not on the track. so in theroy he is going to lose his life? plus if u want to just ride get a street/dirt bike. much more fun.

  • @2wheelsteve , Good points, I have the same K-100 with the luftmister pipe, and it's not about how fast I go, but about having pride in my '85, and getting a rush from riding on the open road. Some people get a kick outta seeing an 85 BMW with only 25,000 miles on it.

  • sounds mean!!!!!!

  • It's so hard to understand for You ???

  • what's the point. You pay BMW to spend millions on engineering a bike to be quiet and you rip off the muffler.

  • A result of removing two screws, One Yank, A 10 minute ride, a True Red Neck Moment. Bought the bike with the pipe and only 1200 miles on it. Has a mellow howl with the packing in. If I want a quiet smooth bike, I ride my goldwing.

  • OK, Now I get it.

  • il sound è great ma la moto non cammina

  • Holy shit! My dad had a K100, and it never sounded like that!

    Sick bike man!

  • lovely bike .Given me a reason to smarten up my old K100.

  • Yes,,That is what makes it all that much harder to think of selling it.

  • sounds great!
