We have the new Terberg lifts on our wagons, in your neighbouring Erewash. Your right about zoella lifts, there bloody dangerous and either drop more bins in the back or throw them off the lifts than they actually empty. We have a spare wagon with zoella lifts on, but we all dread using it lol.
@djzee1000 The new Terberg lifters aren't too bad, I find that if you whack on two bins at the same time it switches it over to 1100 mode though which can be a pain, plus they don't 'shake' the bins that good either, not so good on green waste in the summer. Can't beat the older style Terberg lifters though! Haha, I know what you mean about Zoellers being dangerous though.... the one truck we've got with them sure likes munching bins thats for sure
we had a fiveways hire wagon about 2 years ago for 6 months with exactly the same lifts, they're very good! cant beat terberg or otto, some zoeller lifts are alright but most are rubbish
Some of the Zoellers are ok, the 'high level' variety is pretty good but anything else isn't! The Fiveways vehicles were Dennis with Phoenix 2 body and Terberg Omnidel binlifts, ours was the only one out of the 6 with Otto lifts :)
I hate them low back terberg set ups, if you put the bins on at the wrong time, i.e when the blades at the front all the refuse just bounces off and spills out the hopper.
otta lifts are very good in west wiltshire we have got 11 rosroka bodys and 3 narrow track dennis phonixs but zellor lifts relly are a bag of shite terberg or otto the best .
