lol! i love these! i remember the 1st comp i played DK2 on was such a piece of crap that DK2 didn't run porperly. the visuals were alright, but the sound cokced up and it would skip/screw up bits of the lines. like the "a trap has been completed in your workshop" (or w/e it is) the game stuffed up and would say things like "a hmfblgg has created in your workshit" and my favourtire "ahhh, i see you have discovered a mascogical item"

@comparetowhat I'm not one hundred percent sure about it, but it might be a reference to the narrator from an old arcade classic called Gauntlet Legends, which was an old explore/beat 'em up game wherein the narrator constantly reminded the player that they needed food if their health dropped below a certain level. This happened even more frequently if you actually played the game in the arcade, as your health would ALWAYS be draining in order to force you to put in more quarters.

The quote at 1:54 used to creep me out every time I heard it. I thought that it meant that my dungeon was doing poorly and that I shouldn't take my chances lest I tick my creatures off.

It wasn't until recently that I realized the mentor was being literal. Yeah, I love this game.
