Let me help you out all out, The army Issues the M4.. What he's firing IS an M4 its modded. The M4A1 Design has NO rail system, Like the old M16A3 and under Design. But now I am curious as what you did to the lower receiver to mod it.....

@Free2shred00 Depends on the ammo choice. Regular ammo such as the M855 is super sonic and you will hear the crack of the round as it breaks the sound barrier. Sub Sonic (MIL-STD-1474D) is much, much more quieter.

@GscottS16 I'm no expert but I think every branch of the military makes use of the M4A1. SEALS make particular use of it because of its compact size which allows for ease of mobility in close quarters combat, which is a SEAL specialty. In effect the M4A1 is somewhat of a cross between a sub machine gun and an assault rifle, allowing the compact design of a SMG with the increased range and firepower of an assault rifle round.

yes that is exactly what happened actually, the barrel melted and then sprayed liquefied chromium molybdenum all over me and my 6 closest friends, and we all fucking died. You were right, the barrel melts when you shoot out of it. so just remember, you will fucking die if you touch a gun.

You should get your facts straight, the difference is the trigger group, not barrel length. The A1's have or have been fitted with heavier barrels than the original to cope with the heat from full auto firing. The barrel for all M4 carbines has been and still is 14.5 inches long

no i am not special forces, just a regular infantryman....but if i was special forces, what would me smoking in a combat zone have to do with anything? i know plenty of people (including myself) who are in above average physical shape,that smoke cigarettes regularly. just because were not sf, doesnt mean we dont hold ourselves to a high physical standard. come hump some mountains at 7000+ feet with us, with 100+ pounds of kit on, then see if you make it to the top to smoke a cigarette with us.
