It is exciting to see this research finally going through , though the DNA test was stopped in 2000 . In that same year Zahi Hawas uttered the words"A Zionist Plot" in association with the DNA test . I don't believe Akhnaton to be a Hittite .Akhnaton is accepted to be the son of Ammenophis III and his Grreat Wife "Tiye" who remained in the "Great Wife"position when her son came to power in spite of his important marriage to Nefertiti .Yes, Egyptians hated Akhnaton.His "Heresy"which included outlawing all the other gods of Egypt might have been part of the question of why .The relation of Tiye to Tut is an important question in the DNA test subject here,unanswered.
